Katie loved performing from an early age, first appearing on stage and television at just 3 years old.
She regularly attended Freestyle Dance competitions and UKA Disco and Freestyle medal lessons, gaining top marks in all her exams. In addition to private singing, piano and dance lessons, Katie also sang in her local choir.
Katie studied acting, singing and dancing at Leeds University’s Performing Arts Academy - Bretton Hall, where she achieved her BA Honours Degree in Theatre Arts and Acting for Broadcast Media. Her training involved acting for different mediums; stage, TV and radio in addition to a diverse range of dance styles and vocal coaching.
Coming top her in her year for her solo acting module Katie then went onto achieve her professional IDTA Associate Freestyle Dance teaching qualification, later gaining her UKA and NATD Associates in Contemporary Dance. In addition to these qualifications, Katie has a specialist Directing qualification from Central School, Birmingham, Musical Theatre qualifications and has worked professionally in Television and Radio. She has lectured for the IDTA and judged dance competitions.
Katie is very proud to have trained and choreographed many solo performers and teams for the West End and strives to encourage and inspire all her students every step of the way.

Mil has been dancing since the age of 4 taking classes in many different styles. A highly successful competitive Freestyle dancer, Mil has competed across the UK at Premiere Champion level. She trained at Starstruck and BOA adding Commercial, Jazz and Musical Theatre to her repertoire.
Mil then went on to complete her IDTA Freestyle Associate exam under the training of StarStruck earning 98% Distinction. This incredible result led Mil to being nominated for and winning the prestigious IDTA John Dilworth Scholarship Award , beating over 50 nominees worldwide!
Mil coaches our incredible professional competition team in addition to teaching many other classes. Mil's favourite dance styles are Freestyle and Contemporary and her passion for dance shines through to her students!
Dance and Musical theatre is Georgia's passion. She started training at the age of 2 and a half and has competed and performed ever since. Georgia has won national titles in Jazz and Tap competitions and was awarded funding to attend the Urdang Academy. During her time in training she has worked with industry professionals including Dean Lee, Philip Michael Thomas, Rob Archibald, Brian Friedman and many more.
Since graduating with a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, Georgia has performed overseas in 5 star resorts, featured as a dancer in music videos and performed at stadiums that hold over 25,000. She found her passion for teaching in 2020 and since then has taught a range of ages and abilities in Commercial Dance, Tap, Jazz & Musical Theatre.

Since joining our team in 2017, Katherine or 'Katie' as she's known to her students, has brought a fresh perspective and teaching approach to her position.
An inspiration for both students and faculty alike, she has performed on several well known stages including Sadlers Wells, the Royal Albert Hall and the Birmingham Hippodrome. Katie is proud to have completed 17 amateur dance exams and was nominated for a Freestyle Dance Scholarship by former IDTA president, Miss Dawn Parker.
Now a professional dance teacher, she holds an IDTA Associate in Freestyle and a Level 4 Diploma in Ballet Teaching, achieving Distinction in both. Katie is also a qualified Acro and Ballet teacher and continues to broaden her professional development.
A keen vocalist from a young age, Bridget thrived during her music lessons at school and was awarded a choral scholarship to study music at Durham University.
After successfully completing her professional training, Bridget's career has included various stage performances in Opera and Musical Theatre. Since graduating she now provides tuition within the education sector as well as teaching at StarStruck.
Whether singing for fun or preparing for LCM exams, Bridget inspires our young singers to unlock their talent and believe in their abilities, whilst finding their own unique style. Bridget is passionate that singing makes everyone feel positive and gives all children the chance to feel good about themselves!
Courtney’s passion for dancing, acting and singing started at the age of 2. She has performed in many professional productions including 'Evita' at the Birmingham Hippodrome, 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' UK Tour the Crescent Theatre, 'Cats' at the NEC, 'A Christmas Carol' at the Albany Theatre and 'The Merchant of Venice' at the RSC. Courtney has also performed at Her majesty's Theatre in London and Disneyland, Paris. One of her career highlights is performing alongside Gary Barlow in one of his concerts!
Courtney has trained in a wide range of styles including Musical Theatre, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Freestyle. A keen singer, Courtney has now progressed to taking her Musical Theatre Diploma with the London College of Music.
After gaining top marks in numerous StarStruck amateur exams and awards, Courtney decided to folllow her passion for performing and become a professional teacher.
She now holds an IDTA Freestyle Associate qualifiation under StarStruck’s training and achieved 95% Distinction. Courtney is also a qualified Acro instructor and is currently studying for her professional Ballet teachers examination.
Maisie has grown up taking classes at StarStruck since the age of 9 and has been at the heart of our school ever since! Growing up Maisie trained in a variety of styles including Musical Theatre, Jazz, Freestyle, Cheer, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Commercial, Acting and Singing, taking numerous exams in several genres. In 2017 Maisie was selected out of thousands of medalists nationwide to take part in the IDTA Freestyle Dance Scholarships.
Maisie has performed in a selection of shows locally including the Birmingham Hippodrome and The MAC and has been part of the New Alexandra Theatre Stage Experience in 5 productions; her first part being a principal orphan in 'Annie' at the age of just 10. She has performed in London many times at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall and Her Majesty's Theatre and danced at the Blackpool Opera House and Disneyland, Paris!
Now a professional teacher, Maisie holds an IDTA Associate Freestyle Dance achieving 96% Distinction.
Sammy joined StarStruck at 7 years old and hasn't looked back since! She has trained in a diverse theatrical spectrum including Musical Theatre, Singing, Gymnastic Dance, Cheerleading, Street, Contemporary and Jazz, achieving top marks in all of her exams.
A true triple threat performer, Sammy has graced the stages of the Winter Gardens in Blackpool and Birmingham's Hippodrome and MAC Theatres. For the past few years Sammy has also performed at The Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham with Stage Experience, taking part in 'Grease', 'West Side Story', Boogie Nights and 'SInging in the Rain'. She has been a regular performer at Her Majesty's Theatre and has danced at Disneyland, Paris.
After a successful time at BOA (Birmingham Ormiston Academy) Sammy took her professional training with StarStruck and was awarded 95% Distinction by the IDTA in her Associate Freestyle. Shortly afterwards Sammy gained top marks in her professional Cheer qualification.
Reiss stepped through the StarStruck doors when he was 8 years old, attending a Summer Camp befoe joining regular classes. Over the years Reiss has trained in Freestyle, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Street and Musical Theatre passing all of his exams with top marks and some fabulous comments by examiners.
Reiss excelled in his acting, singing and dancing and
as a result has danced in many venues in the UK including The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty's Theatre, The Birmingham Hippodrome and the Blackpool Winter Gardens. He has also performed in Disneyland, Paris.
Reiss successfully completed his professional dance teacher training with StarStruck and was awarded 97% Distinction by the IDTA in his Associate Freestyle.

Dancing her whole life, Jessica has performed all over the country and even abroad at Disneyland Paris. She was the Mardi Gras Team Captain her first year in the team performing at the Royal Albert Hall, and she recently performed in the curtain raiser for Matthew Bournes Swan Lake at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Passionate and positive, Jess started choreographing from a very young age. At her secondary school she was the youngest and longest reigning choreographer and student director of the school productions, creating numbers for musicals Fame, Into the Woods, Sound of Music and Grease. Moreover, she has choreographed multiple numbers for 5 of DMS' Fusion of Music & Dance Charity Concert at Symphony Hall, of which one was aired on TV. Furthermore, Jess was also Director Assistant in her final year show at Birmingham Ormiston Academy and choreographed a show number for BOA's Jazz Company 'Rhythmia' which was performed at Symphony Hall. Jess recieved Triple Distinction* for her extended diploma in Dance and a Grade 9 in GCSE Drama. Trained in a plethora of dance styles, she is now diversifying her training even further by studying for her degree in Musical Theatre at Institute of Contemporary Theatre. Jessica achieved a Distinction in her IDTA Associate Teachers Certificate after taking Freestyle Solo exams for years, of which she was nominated for Freestyle Schloarship in 2016.
