STAR-STRUCK
IN SCHOOLS

Since 2004 we have provided after school and lunch time dance and drama clubs in primary schools across Solihull and Warwickshire.  Our classes aim to develop childrens confidence, stretch their learning and promote successful social skills.

Every term we organise a performance for parents and an assembly for the school to celebrate their achivements and present children with awards.

What do schools say?

We have welcomed Star-Struck into our school since 2016. They have offered a weekly dance and drama after school club in term time which our pupils love . The staff are incredibly enthusiastic, talented and have such a lovely way with children.

There are end of term shows where parents can see what the children have been learning. In addition, pupils can take part in annual shows with members from other clubs.

The club promotes fun and enjoyment but also helps to boost a child's confidence in a safe environment with inspirational teachers.

We were fortunate to have Star-Struck Performing Arts Academy come into our nursery setting on a regular basis to offer a host of activities for our pre- school children to enjoy. It was evident to see how much the sessions enhanced the children's learning and development in the 3 prime areas. The activities provided, encouraged progression in Personal Social and Emotional, Physical and Communication and Language skills. The sessions offered a wealth of fun and excitement for the children and it was a pleasure to watch their enjoyment.

Star-Struck is an established after-school club at our school and is attended by children from all ages. The children are clearly nurtured in singing, dancing and acting and is this is evident when they put on their end of term performance.

It never ceases to amaze me the confidence that these children achieve in a very short period of time to be able to perform at such a high standard in front of their peers and families.

It definitely embeds those skills for life in the children that choose to attend. I would fully recommend this company to deliver high quality, purposeful workshops where every child can excel in performing arts and improving their self-confidence.

I have been delighted with the commitment Star-Struck have always displayed   to us, as a school, and to the students they support and develop.

The fully qualified dance teachers always demonstrate a completely professional approach to teaching and their students thrive in a safe, secure environment where all children can excel in Performing Arts and develop self-confidence.

Katie Cooper, Principal, is a regular visitor, ensuring continuity and progression in lessons and a high standard of service.

Feedback from parents of pupils who attend the classes is always positive and I can recommend Star-Struck without reservation.

Katie has been teaching dance and drama through her stage school, StarStruck, at this school for many years.  She is an outstanding teacher whose standards and expectations are of the highest.

Over 40 children take part in our after-school club run by Katie and her team.  Everyone who tales part thoroughly enjoys themselves.  This is due to the atmosphere generated by Katie and the other teachers.  Everyone is encouraged to take part in all the activities.

It is always a pleasure to watch the children’s performances in school because their enthusiasm and the delight they take in what they are doing is wonderful to see.  This all stems from the leadership they receive.  The children are always smiling, a reflection of Katie’s outgoing, happy personality.

I believe that any school allowing Katie to start up a dance and drama club would find the results very rewarding for both the children and the school.

I would recommend Katie and her

Star-Struck team of young dancers

without hesitation.
